SILHOUETTE, WITH A TIGER AND BAT

An agate snuff bottle, superbly hollowed, of squared form with rounded shoulders, with a cylindrical neck and with a neatly carved concave oval foot, the honey brown stone with an ochre inclusion utilized on one main side to depict a prancing tiger upon a rock, chasing a bat in flight above, the two characters Zhen wan (Precious Plaything) to one side.
