IMPERIAL, BLOSSOMING PRUNUS

A nephrite snuff bottle, very well hollowed, of flattened shield shape, with rounded shoulders sloping to a cylindrical neck with a slightly everted straightened mouth and with a neatly carved concave oval foot, the white stone utilizing opaque mottling in the incising, one main side with a branch of blossoming prunus issuing from rockwork, continuing onto the reverse.
Imperial, attributed to the Palace Workshops.
