The modified meiping (‘prunus-blossom vase’) shape, in combination with the straightened lip rim and the use of a slightly flawed, greenish-white jade suggest that this may be a miniature snuff bottle made at the Court, probably during the mid-Qing period. It is one of the more charming shapes for this range of miniature jade bottles.
