Provenance:

This simple, but elegant, bottle was one of the first purchases for this collection at a time when the owner knew little about snuff bottles. Despite this naivity, his natural instinct for top quality seems to have held him in good stead. All the features of this sturdy little bottle point to Palace manufacture as does the uniqueness of the form of the piece.
