A turquoise matrix snuff bottle, of small flattened shield shape with a waisted neck and straightened mouth rim, tapering to a flat oval base, the variegated green and blue-green tones with dramatic, irregular dark veining of the matrix.
Possibly imperial, attributed to the Palace Workshops.
