A porcelain snuff bottle, of elongated ovoid form, with a flat gilded lip and a concave oval foot, enameled in dark blue to simulate lapis lazuli, molded and reticulated, on one side with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl amidst clouds, the reverse with a phoenix in flight, the neck with a continuous border of leiwen above inverted lingzhi, the base with a lingzhi border, edged in gilt and inscribed in iron-red regular script within a square two-lined border, Na Zhai Ming Bei.
Possibly imperial, attributed to the palace kilns, Jingdezhen
