TURQUOISE GROUND, LOTUS SCROLLS, MARK AND PERIOD

A porcelain snuff bottle, of flattened rounded form, with shoulders sloping to a waisted neck with slightly everted gilded lip, decorated on each main side en grisaille with a central scrolling lotus flowerhead surrounded by leafy scrolls, reserved against a turquoise ground, the neck with a lingzhi band, the base with an iron-red four character Daoguang nian zhi mark and of the period.
Imperial, attributed to the Palace Kilns, Jingdezhen.
