A porcelain snuff bottle, of rounded form with a cylindrical neck and a neatly placed oval footrim, decorated using iron-red enamels on each main side with a prancing Buddhist lion chasing a beribboned brocade ball, their eyes picked out in black ink, the base with a four character Daoguang nian zhi mark and of the period.
