玄玉鼻烟壶

高度: 56 mm

烟壶呈长方形，纯黑颜色，直径圆口，椭圆形底足，掏膛规整，两侧雕刻椭圆形图案。

玄玉是羊肝玛瑙的一种，属于石英类范畴。它也被叫做黑羊肝玛瑙或者试金石。试金石的得来是因为它是一种黑色坚硬的石块，用金银在上面画一条纹，从颜色上就可以看出金银的成色。用这种材质做烟壶的很少，因此知道这种材质的烟壶的人更少。十八世纪这种形状的烟壶在其他材质上出现很多，在台北故宫就有一件和它形状类似的白玉烟壶，Block所藏烟壶中也有一件玛瑙的，是什麽让它如此吸引人？是这种图案？还是出现这种图案的年代，1791年（ 嘉庆时期的丁巳年）？尽管出现玄玉烟壶的年代很早，但是这种图案出现在玄玉烟壶上，应该是更吸引收藏家的地方。
